Overview
If you're interested in making a positive difference in the lives of the children we serve, Children's Care Hospital & School has a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. Whether it be cuddling or playing with a child or supporting our staff behind the scenes, volunteers play a vital role in our success as a caring environment for children with special needs.
The most important requirement to be a volunteer is a caring heart. Other guidelines:
- You can be young or old: age 12 to 112, depending on the specific job.
- Personal references are required.
- Interviews are required.
- Proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination is required.

If you'd like to begin the process, we invite you to print and fill out our Volunteer Service Application. You may drop off the application at Children's Care Hospital & School, or mail it to: Children's Care Hospital & School, Volunteer Services, 2501 West 26th St., Sioux Falls, SD 57105.
