Outreach Services
Outreach at Children's Care means life can be easier for families of children with special needs. Our Outreach Program sends specially trained pediatric therapists, educators, and psychologists directly into the homes, schools, and daycares of children who need their help.
Nearly 90% of the approximately 2,600 children we serve each year are outreach patients. Many of them are very young children receiving early intervention to help them catch up with peers on developmental milestones such as walking, talking, or feeding themselves.
A child may transfer into outpatient or inpatient care as determined by parents, the child's school, and/or medical providers.
Therapies, Evaluations, and Consultations
Children's Care specialists provide therapy, evaluations, and consultations in a child's home or school in:
- Physical Therapy: Walking or large muscle concerns
- Occupational Therapy: Fine motor function and self-care skills, sensory difficulties with touch, sound, foods, movements, etc.
