Extended & Medical Care

Unlocking Potential. Improving Lives.
The Extended and Medical Care (EMC) Program is one of the primary services offered by Children's Care Hospital and School. We offer quality medically-based 24-hour programming for children ages birth to 21. Typically the children served in the Extended and Medical Care Program are referred by school districts and/or hospitals that do not have the ability to effectively serve the child. Therefore, the program is deemed the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) that will meet the individual child's needs. This determination is made by the child's interdisciplinary team.
"To reach out is a risk. When I reached out to Children's Care, I felt appreciated. That feeling is still with me. It's great to be here. Thank you for all you have done and all you have given to me."Extended & Medical Care
