Specialty Clinics
At the Children’s Care Rehabilitation Center in Sioux Falls we offer a variety of specialty clinics including Tone Evaluation And Management (TEAM) clinic, Early Development Clinic, Seating and Wheeled Mobility clinic and Power Mobility Clinic. The Children’s Care TEAM clinic offers optimal treatment for individuals with tone and mobility issues. We offer an interdisplinary approach led by two highly specialized physicians, physiatrist Dr. Julie A Johnson and pediatric neurologist Jorge D Sanchez. The team may also include one or more of the many specialists at Children’s Care including: assistive technology certified physical and occupational therapists, nurse, orthotist, prosthetist and speech-language pathologist. These team members care for and treat patients with tone and mobility issues everyday; and are available beyond the clinic appointment to provide quality care for children and adults. Individuals needing splinting, braces, or wheelchairs can have their equipment customized for the best fit and comfort onsite, often at the same visit. Click here to find more information.

"Of course the best part of working at Children's Care are the kids and families I meet everyday. The courage, passion and love that you feel from them is amazing and makes me feel very blessed to be part of this organization. I also love working among individuals of various educational backgrounds because I am able to learn something new everyday from them. Everyone is always so willing to volunteer to lend a hand or answer a question when asked." – Megan H., Occupational Therapist
