Why Don’t You Take a Picture?

If you are like most people, the appeal to look at pictures is strong, particularly for those you know.  A few websites have tapped in to this instinct we have and have become quite successful.  These sites allow you to view pictures inside of galleries or photo albums.   You can save them to your own computer, purchase them or even add comments to these pictures to say hi to those you know.  So, to answer our topic title above, we decided to take a lot of pictures!

Our own site has recently formed a partnership of sorts with one such photo viewing site, SmugMug.  SmugMug is much like YouTube, only for photos, allowing you to post your photos for others around the world to see.  As a non-profit organization, we have been allowed a free account with SmugMug to show others about those we work with and those who work with us.  We’ve only recently started this partnership and look to take full advantage of our opportunities.  In the meantime, we’re just too anxious to show you the pictures we’ve posted so far.  Wanna see them or keep up to date on pictures we post?  Check out our updated galleries at http://www.cchs.org/about/photos.

Don’t forget - Say cheese!

"I was grateful for the chance to volunteer at Children's Care while I was in college to gain a better understanding of the needs of children with special needs, as well as those of their families. This was a great opportunity!"
