In response to a recent mailing to all candidates, Children’s Care had the great opportunity to meet with several members of our legislature.  We are always so grateful to those who are able to take time from their busy schedules to visit with us, learn more about what we do and meet our staff and children.  For those of us in South Dakota, we are very lucky and fortunate to have such dedicated and commendable leadership in our legislature.  It is quickly evident how genuine people are, especially when it comes to helping children with special needs.

As a non-profit organization, we are also non-partisan.  We simply look to serve and collaborate with others who can assist us in our mission.  With that said, our civil servants and leaders deserve thanks for their many “behind the scenes” efforts, so we wanted to recognize our visitors and thank them.
