No handicaps in this golf season

Professional golf is a household name as is Tiger Woods.  We’ve been fortunate to experience many living legends in golf that have played over the years.  Have you ever heard of DJ Gregory?  DJ has participated in the PGA Tour this year, but in a different way.  Thirty years ago, when DJ was born, his doctors said he’d never walk and was later diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.  Cerebral palsy is a non-progressive condition that causes various physical disabilities that normally results in orthopedic difficulties. While many with CP find ways to live independently, it is a difficult condition that makes walking and getting around a bit of a struggle.

Flash forward a few decades:  DJ has a masters degree in Sports Management, walks with a cane and lets nothing stop him.  To prove it he’s walking every PGA Tour event this season and blogging about it on the PGA Tour’s website.

To date, DJ has accomplished many feats which he keeps up to date on his blog.  He’s attracted his own list of sponsors and has propelled himself and Cerebral Palsy.  Here’s a young man anyone with a special need should look up to.  The stats on the right are funny but jaw dropping as well.  He’ll be walking over 1000 miles during this initiative and showing the world that he’s capable and full of potential.

Thanks DJ for being an inspiration - to all of us.

I hope my comments are relayed directly to DJ Gregory himself. I Don Pelechosky watch your great story and even greater accomplishments. Your father is certainly very proud of his boy. I know your not a boy, but that’s what dad’s like to call their son’s no matter how old they are.
Anyway I would like to show you a device I innovated and designed to allow myself to golf shortly after a bad accident. Even before i could take steps without a walker. I invent things all the time it;s something i enjoy doing if your interested i can pull it out of my garage and customize the concept to fit your needs. pretty sure you won’t be disappointed. get in touch with me through my wifes I’m not much of a computer guy so if there is a better way of getting my message through to DJ “HELP”
