Make Bed Wetting Therapy Work For Your Child

The following letter was forwarded on to us recently from a grateful mom who was referred to us by Scott Ecklund, MD, of Sanford Clinic.  Robin Lund, DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) specializes in incontinence therapy and it’s great to see letters like this recognize her efforts.

Dear Dr. Ecklund,

I am writing you to update you personally on the success of my son’s physical therapy.  Robin Lund dd7odevnp1with the Children’s Care Rehabilitation clinic has been sending you clinical updates, but I wanted to let you know how impressed I am with the program.

We started seeing Robin in September of 2009.  Prior to this, I could count on one hand the number of dry nights my son has had at 9 years of age.  Since implementing her suggestions, we have mostly dry nights and usually I can pinpoint the reason he was not dry based on the information she has provided.

Robin really cares about kids and she speaks “their language”.  She asks if he is comfortable with something before trying anything.  She understands that he is older and some things might be embarrassing, so she takes a gentle approach when appropriate.  She is an invaluable resource for me for finding the solution to this issue.  She always remains encouraging despite the fact we are sometimes slow to implement her suggestions.

I am writing because I wanted you to feel comfortable in referring other patients with bedwetting to her.  I told her at my child’s last appointment I was going to let you know how well this has worked for us.

Thanks and feel free to contact me if you want any further information or details on how this program has impacted our family.

We are so grateful for these kind words.  Most of all we are ecstatic to know that your son benefits from our services as many others have found as well.

"I'm so impressed and happy with the lessons Lisa and Jamie have provided in Adaptive Aquatics. They are by far, the best lessons the girls have ever received. I am very grateful."
