CHILDREN'S CARE WELCOMES NEW OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST TO RAPID CITY STAFF

Children’s Care is pleased to announce its newest occupational therapist, Sarah Wold-Hanson, MOT, OTR/L, C/NDT.
Sarah, a Winner native, earned her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts at the University of South Dakota. She received her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Texas Woman’s University.
Sarah will be providing occupational therapy services at Children’s Care in Rapid City. She will also provide therapy on an outreach basis on the Pine Ridge and Rosebud reservations. She is certified for specialized training in treating children with cerebral palsy and other neuromotor disorders, and has special interests in teaching handwriting to children, sensory processing disorders, and developmental screenings.
Sarah has previously practiced at St. Francis Indian School, the Winner school district, Mellette County Birth to Three Program and Rosebud Sioux Tribe Education Department.
