The top individual fundraiser at Mall Walk 2011 was Brandon (and mom Sara) Sprock of George, IA, raising $4195. Brandon won a $750 shopping spree as top fundraiser! Dionne Hento of Yankton was the second highest fundraiser, bringing in $3861; she won a new IPad! Karlee (and mom Missy) Hughes of Dakota Dunes, came in third with $3775, winning a $150 Scheels gift card. Jeff Horstmeyer of Sioux Falls nearly tied her for third place, raising $3700.

The top fundraising team was the Mighty Movers, led by team captain Marne Dekkers of Sioux Falls, which raised a Mall Walk team record of $9860. Marne won an IPad, and the team will enjoy a celebratory pizza party. The team with the most registered walkers was Jordyn & Friends, led by team captain Lori Rath with 58 walkers. Lori wins a $150 Scheels gift card, and all registered members will also enjoy a pizza party!

The Mall Walk is hosted by the Children's Care Auxiliary. Every penny of the $85,575 raised will go directly to purchase therapy and education equipment and supplies for the nearly 2000 children in the region served annually by Children's Care through residential, outpatient, and outreach programs.
