Physical Therapist Christine Stephenson (PT, DPT) of Children's Care in Rapid City will present a free parent workshop, "Bowel and Bladder Challenges in Children Over Age 4" on October 11 at 6 p.m.

The session is part of a series sponsored by South Dakota Parent Connection and USD Disabilities, and will be held via the Dakota Digital Network (DDN) site in the Classroom Building at the School of Mines and Technology, 501 E. Saint Joseph Street. (Park in the Surbeck Lot)

Christine will describe the causes of many childhood bowel and bladder issues, address ideas for parents to try at home, and discuss when professional help may be needed. The event is free and open to the public, and pre-registration is not required.

The session will also be broadcast to DDN locations at the Wegner Health Science Center in Sioux Falls and McCook Central School in Salem, and will be available LIVE on the internet.  Visit under the Family Life/Parent Education Series tab for details on how to join the session or call 1-800-640-4553.
