SOCIAL SKILLS GROUP HELPS CHILDREN IMPROVE INTERACTION WITH PEERS

Fall 2012: Ten Weeks-Every Tuesday from September 18 to November 20, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Winter 2013: Ten Weeks-Every Tuesday from January 8 to March 12, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Speech Therapists use games and other fun activities to develop children's social skills such as:
- Maintaining eye contact
- Correcting voice volume
- Ignoring distractions
- Concentrating on tasks
- Greeting and conversing with others
- Listening
- Staying on task
- Following directions
...and more.
Social Skills groups are held at the Children's Care Rehabilitation Center, 1020 W 18th Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57104. For details or to register, call (605) 782-2400.
