CHILDREN'S CARE TO OFFER FREE PARENT WORKSHOP ON BOWEL AND BLADDER CHALLENGES IN CHILDREN
POSTED: JUN 06, 2012Many problems children have with bowel and bladder control can be successfully treated with specialty physical therapy, and are usually covered by insurance. Children with typical development, as well as those with developmental disabilities, can benefit from treatment. Treatable conditions include bed wetting, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, regression wetting, dysfunctional voiding (including stool hoarders), and constipation.
Our easy and effective treatment program combines behavioral and physical therapies, aided by state-of-the art, kid-friendly biofeedback and muscle management techniques. Therapy is typically weekly, lasting eight to twelve sessions.
The workshop will be held at Children’s Care at 7110 Jordan Drive in Rapid City. Space is limited—call today to register! (605) 342-4412.
