DYSPHAGIA WORKSHOP AT CHILDREN'S CARE, FEB. 16-17, 2012
POSTED: DEC 07, 2011Swallowing doesn't end at the pharynx. - - Esophageal screenings and the role of the SLP
- - Acid reflux disease and LPR in adults and children
- - Drug induced dysphagia
- - Model for pneumonia risk and prevention
- - Water protocols
- - Oral hygiene programs
- - Xerostomia
Workshop provides 12 contact hours. Hours will be 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 16, and 8:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 17. Cost is $300 per person. Call Christina at (605) 782-2371 for details.

Every day I find myself smiling as I walk down the hallway; I just cannot get over the fact that this is my job. The smiles and laughter that comes from the students I work with rejuvenate my commitment to them and makes my soul feel whole. The thing I enjoy most about working at Children's Care, is knowing that I am helping to make a difference in the lives of every child and family I work with, and that makes me feel like I'm leading a purpose driven life.
